About Suwacare
Suwacare is the caregiver training initiative of the Society for Health Research and Innovation Trust Fund (Pvt) Ltd, operating under a valid business registration and established to develop skilled, compassionate and professionally competent caregivers.
We are an institution registered with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) under P/1120 and accredited to conduct the NVQ Level 3 Caregiver Training Programme. The programme combines structured theory learning with extensive physical practical training so that students build clinically oriented caregiving skills, not only classroom knowledge.
Training is supported by a panel of senior and experienced lecturers and healthcare professionals. Suwacare is also partnering with the College of Anaesthesiologists & Intensivists of Sri Lanka for life-saving skills development, including Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR and related emergency-response training.

Upon successful completion of the required programme and assessment process, students will be eligible to receive the NVQ Level 3 Caregiver Certificate issued through TVEC a nationally recognised vocational qualification that demonstrates assessed caregiver competence.

The NVQ Level 3 Caregiver Training Program runs for approximately 2.5 to 3 months, depending on the training schedule and assessment dates.
The program is open to school leavers, individuals interested in healthcare, those seeking local or overseas caregiving opportuni es and anyone passionate about providing quality care.
No. Previous experience is not required. Our program is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills from the beginning.
Students who successfully complete the program and meet the assessment requirements will be eligible for the NVQ Level 3 Caregiver qualification, subject to TVEC regulations.
Yes. The program includes 204 hours of prac cal training, allowing students to develop hands on caregiving skills in a structured learning environment.
The standard course fee is Rs. 85,000, plus a separate registration fee of Rs. 25,000. Therefore, the standard total is Rs. 110,000.
Under the early bird offer, the course fee is reduced to Rs. 50,000. Including the registration fee, the early-bird total is Rs. 75,000, saving you Rs. 35,000.
